I love having fruit for breakfast, especially when it was the summer I was having it nearly everyday, now we are in autumn I’m still trying to have it before I start turning to the good old faithful porridge (oatmeal)!
So this morning I had my usual fruit, my favourites, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries alongside Rachel’s Organic Vanilla Yogurt, this time I sprinkled some Cacao Powder and Bee Pollen on top.
Bee Pollen is meant to be a great source of proteins, vitamins, minerals and amino acids, so I’ve been trying to incorporate about a teaspoon a day!
This was a funny one! I would give the recipe about a 5/10, this is the first time I have ever made gnocci and I am not entirely sure I will be making again in a hurry! I get bored quite easily and so to have a full plate full of this just did not fill me with excitement. I sprinkled some mozzarella on and chopped some basil too. The recipe was from a website called wiki how if you all would like to try it! Overall, if you enjoy potatoes then maybe just have them as potatoes!
Woke up this morning feeling super refreshed, can only put it down to the fact that last night I had a few slices of watermelon, I wasn’t feeling 100% and then I had some of the yummy pink stuff and bam, half an hour later I felt right as rain and then I went to sleep blissfully.
It made me think, what healing qualities do fruit have in general, because years ago they obviously relied on it more than medicines which are so easily accessible now it is ridiculous!
Currently, I am planning our food for the week. Looking at lots of different foods that I can design recipes with and make my own! (I have never been a follower!)
Day 6: Well what a difference a day makes, my knees feel so much better, but I think they do because I didn’t attempt the pushups. I have the worst technique ever, I have a problem with my rotator cuff on my left shoulder and pushups just aren’t really helping me at all, so im going to start trying to build up strength in my arms first, so instead of pushups I just do tummy crunches 🙂
Short and sweet but loving it thus far, bring on level 2 in a few days!
Also, I wanted to ask has anyone else had aching shin bones after working out?!
